What you need to remember about what I’m going to tell you.
A “Giveaway” is just that. You can get a lot of “free” stuff. This is usually a compilation of Internet Marketers giving away something to get your name and email address. Most of them do this in order to build “their list” of names they can mail stuff to and sell. It can be software programs, it can be ebooks, it can be free reports, something in exchange for your information. Be careful.
I have gotten a lot of useful programs from these things, but I also have gotten a lot that is sitting on my hard drive that I’ve never even opened. Test the stuff you download when you download it so if there is a problem you can get it taken care of right away. I will be adding to this page often, and taking things down as they close, so be sure and check back for the latest “freebies”.
Sometimes these things don’t close exactly when they say they will, so I will leave them here and you can try them. I will try to test them myself and delete them as they end.
One of the neatest things I’ve found is a website called “The Thirty Day Challenge“. Ed Dale and Dan Raines have put together a terrific course with videos and everything for earning your first $10 online. It may not sound like much, but once you have the actual steps down…I’m doing this myself and it’s absolutely FREE.
The following giveaways give you an option to upgrade your membership for a price. If you decide to do that, then you only enter your name and email address one time (unless you join a club or something). The choice is yours. There are plenty of free gifts without the upgraded membership.

Hey, I liked this post! I am also new to internet marketing and have also had tons of junk sent to me in exchange for my name and email. When done correctly with dignity and character, I am sure that this formula works just fine. So . . . what kind of products, etc. would you (or your readers) like to see given away in exchange for name and email? I am trying to come up with something a little different however, ebooks, mp3’s, videos, “training courses” are about all that is out there for now. I even thought about going offline and sending some sort of booklet or something to people for them to opt-in to my site. I’d love to know your thoughts on this.

I don’t know what someone could do differently than what is out there. You’re idea about offline is good, it just always seemed like too much hassle to me. A lot of people do like having something in their hands that they can hold on to.
I personally like instructional videos. With not really being a computer geek, sometimes reading how to do something is a lot more confusing than seeing it being done.
What I don’t like, and stock newsletters do this all the time, is for a marketer to say something’s free and it’s not. It’s free if you “sign up for my $995 newsletter”. I think that’s terribly deceiving.
