As I go through writing this blog, there will be certain items I think of that I consider to be important over all, or some corrections I’ve learned about advice I’ve given. I wanted these things to be easy to find and permanent, so I made a page for them. I will be adding to this page as relevant.

Tip #1- If you have AOL you’re going to find yourself very frustrated trying to do a lot of things. Your best bet is to download Firefox. It works better with other programs and it’s lightening fast compared to "Almost Online" (as a friend of mine calls it). It’s a free download and you can get it by clicking on the banner below.

Firefox 3

Update To Post- In my post about building your own website, one of the sources I give is The Hidden Vault. It turns out he no longer offers that course as a free stand alone course. That’s too bad. It was really terrific. What he does offer now at Wholesale’s Dirty Secrets is the course and a lot of other goodies for a price. If you don’t have a product to sell yet and are still deciding, you may want to check him out.

Tip #2- Constantly save or backup your work. I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to write a whole blogpost or get most of your website done, and have it disappear into cyberland, never to be seen again. This tip will save you a ton of frustration and heartache.

Tip #3- You may want to check out webhosts before building your site on your computer as they may offer a "website builder" of some kind with their service that may make building a website very, very easy.
